Michele Havas is an experienced brand strategist and marketer having spent more than 15 years in key business and marketing roles at blue-chip organisations such as Qantas and Diageo.
Her background includes senior roles in brand management and decision support as well as being part of the leadership team that transformed Diageo to become a digital marketing leader. She launched several high profile communications campaigns for brands such as Smirnoff, Guinness and Baileys.
Her specialties include brand strategy, digital and social media strategy, agency frameworks and marketing capability development.
Michele formulated the national guidelines on Social Media Code of Conduct for Australia’s peak marketing & advertising industry’s body, The Communications Council and worked closely with The Interactive Advertising Bureau.
Michele is an experienced speaker and trainer on the topic of brand marketing & digital and social media and is a regular presenter at conferences and training courses.
When she’s not strategising or presenting Michele loves good food, travelling, and being out in nature with her family.
